The cargo on board these vessels references the detritus of industrial life as we collectively struggle with our responsibility for a sustainable existence on the earth. Conversely this Series also emphasizes the idea of salvage and salvation in organic and earthly forms that often appear in motion. This concept of movement coincides with the growth aspect of renewal and regeneration that underlies all of my current work.
