Harbinger is one that announces or foreshadows what is coming. This piece uses wood as the organic element and found rusted nails as the cultural or human-made element. The boat that is made of clay floats above, while below the natural world is peirced by the nails representing our current world state. This piece represents the precursor to a new harmony, a harbinger of future healing.
